Explore with Us
Rocklands Retreat is situated on a secluded 222 acres of natural bushland. The property features large areas of open bush and natural rock formations to explore. It is home to extensive wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, emus, antechinus, endless birdlife and the occasional deer. (For this reason we do not accept pets on the premises.) A vehicle track through the property leads directly from the cottages to Rocklands Reservoir for fishing, boating, canoeing & waterplay. We are situated close to the Black Ranges - popular with bushwalkers & 4WD drivers, and a short picturesque drive from the Grampians National Park.
Stay with Us
Rocklands Retreat offers five peaceful and private holiday cottages, perfect for relaxing and retreating. Each is self contained with a full equipped kitchen, 2-3 bedrooms, a deck looking out onto native bushland and a relaxed, modern decor.
Eco with Us
Rocklands Retreat is an off grid, eco-friendly property. We strive to minimise our environmental impact in all aspects where possible. As our energy is mostly solar we do not have all the modern facilities, but instead have warm wood fires (and ready-to-go firewood), stovetop kettles, and fans rather than air-conditioning. We are committed to minimising our plastic waste and for that reason you will need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner.
Play with Us
Rocklands Retreat has a large games room open daily, containing a pool table, table tennis tables, Foosball, large screen television (with DVD’s) and reading/board games area. You can find outside games in the outdoor kitchen hut to play while you cook your BBQ. There is also a monkey bar playground for all ages. BYO pushbikes to ride down to and around the reservoir.
Celebrate with Us
Rocklands Retreat has a large reception/restaurant room, with bar facilities and commercial kitchen, that can seat up to 70 people. We also have additional space for a marquee set up. A perfect venue in a picturesque setting to celebrate that intimate wedding or special event. Please contact us for further details.
